Item Description
I no longer have a need for this lens, but it has been a favorite since I purchased it a few years ago from another forum member. It works flawlessly and takes great pictures. I would've continued using it except I have another lens with similar range. I couldn't find the original box, but it does come with lens caps, hood, and carrying case. The lens was always stored carefully and has not been exposed to pets or smoke. The lens body, glass, caps and hood are free of scuffs or marks.

While planning for the comet, I noticed that the International Space Station would be passing near it. The original plan was to get only 30 second of the ISS trailing above the comet, but I realized in the moment that it would show up anyway in the shorter exposures meant for the comet and stars. So I figured I should get as many shots as I could and composite them together.
You can see this play out in the composition - as the station moves from left to right in the frame, it appears in a series of 10 second exposures. Then, a longer gap occurs as I change my mind and adjust my settings. Finally, three 30 second exposures capture longer ISS trails.
I guess it's kinda funny how it came together. It might've been nice to try to capture one clean, unbroken trail, but I like how this shot turned out and how it reveals the process.
