I think Pentax doesn't need to jump to mirrorless system because it looks like Pentax doesn't have too much money too effort new system ( or they r not focusing improve their system) what they should do, they should more focusing produce more fast lenses as like dfa *50mm lens. New star lens has new focusing ring, i tested it, the focusing it was really fast. More new lenses plus new K camera with faster focusing, better focus peaking, plus better video record option. I think it s the best option for Pentax to survive...

I have Tammy 70-200mm f2. 8, I tried pentax d fa 70-200mm which was kinda heavy and expensive, Tammy is doing the job sometimes focusing would be difficult.. But picture quality is good and sharp enough.
I have been waiting for the new 70-200 f4, still waiting and waiting.. Getting tired of waiting...

I agree with you, if you %50 or more crop the quality will be very low, i mean from little sensor wht you expect? Mostly I print pictures from my p20 pro to instax mini printer, I'm so happy for the quality but if you print larger format I'm sure you can't be happy of the resolution.

P20 pro has an amazing quality of pictures, when you get the right spot and choose the right moment you can take nice pictures.

I just wanna see more prime lenses options from pentax, because you know that third part lens brands stop producing lenses for Pentax. We have just pentax options for modern lenses. Pentax makes good quality lenses but the process takes forever, they r so slow...

Even if you get k1 you still can crop mode and you can still able to use your not full frame lenses, in the future if you buy full frame lenses you can use it too, so you can get second option for using full frame lenses otherwise if you get crop sensor you will able to use just not full frame lenses.

II have pentax k1 more than 1 year, it s my first pentax camera, i was doubts when I was purchasing but after that I was so happy with my k1. Image quality high quality, battery life performance fantastic, pixel shift super effective, top of the camera little wheel it s super useful quick adjustment like iso and another settings...
I forgot the mention about green button mostly all pentax cameras has it I guess, especially when I shot old manual lenses it s so useful.
Pentax doesn't have many modern lenses options Tamron and Sigma stopped making lenses for Pentax but you have enough fast modern lenses with good price like new d fa lenses 24-70f2. 8 d fa 50 mm all they are good and not very expensive lenses when you compare to other brands lenses.
I think if you have tight budget pentax k1 is the best option. I tried mirorles cameras on b&h I don't like it when I look at from Viewfinder not my type but it depends on you wht you like

New fa 35mm lens has the same focus ring as new d fa 50mm lens?
When i tested new d fa 50mm lens focus was so fast on k1, and any one get a chance to test new fa 35mm how s the quality?

Same strory here... I ordered then i received an email back order, then they said they will ship it as soon as possible when they get kt their stock. I checked my order story from on their website ot says that they canceled my order, i didn't receive any cancelation e mail from them..
I checked my bank account and i saw that they charged me 1$,
1$ for what? I sent an email lets see how they r gonna answer me..
My order was Lensbaby Composer Pro II Lens with Sweet 80 Optic for Pentax Digital Cameras for 100$
