Hello! I recently have been getting into film photography, so I bought the pretty compact Pentax ME as my 3rd film camera. I bought it on eBay (got it and 2 lenses for about 60 bucks).
The Camera seems to be in great working order and functioning well apart from a slow mirror reflex. Particularly after being left unused for an hour or more.
The slow mirror movement seems to disappear after I shoot about 6 or 7 exposures but then comes back after it’s being left idle. - I have read that this might be from the light seals being gunked up? I don't see any residue on the mirror. How do I lubricate this to make it function properly? I've never taken one apart. Thanks!
