I am so stoked by this cheapy 70mm (bought it for $185), I bought a cheapy 40mm pancake for almost the same price ($160), used just a handful of times.
I know I could have spent another 50-100 for a more heavily used FA 43mm but I hear and saw the optics are fantastic, and will serve me better for general walk around, city shots.
For anyone that cares, I had to sell my K-1, FA 77mm, Tamron 90mm macro, etc in 2020 due to COVID layoffs. I was heartbroken and haven't done photography since.
I am in a much better place now, and found a very gently/barely used K-70 for three hundred bucks. Basically half off for a barely used body and decided to pull the trigger as I really miss this hobby. Had to decide what len's to get...had a 50mm 1.8 that it came with and had an issue with it, figured out it was the lens, and ordered the 70mm.
Now the 40mm.
Perhaps one day I will own the FA Limiteds (and tbh that Tamron 90mm did some real macro magic) again, but I am very, very impressed but this pancake club.

I just got a K70 and got the 70mm 2.4 in the mail today.
Took a few indoor shots in my rather dark house.
IT. IS. AWESOME.

Well firstly, you pointed out something to me that I have not noticed in the past two days.
This is an inactive account. I had not logged in in...perhaps four years? Maybe less.
In 2020 I had to sell my K-1, 35mm, 77mm, Tamron 90mm macro, etc...I have been camera-less since :(
But, I allowed myself to get a used K70 and looks like I now need to update my profile. We'll see how active I can stay on here with my new setup! Thanks for pointing it out :)

New 50 came, new 50 worked as close as I wanted to AF!

Prime thread? Ok great! I just got in the mail a 77mm 1.8 mint and a 90mm Tammy 2.8 Di Macro...photo's will come in the nigh future!
