I want to buy a laptop, the problem in mexico are that 1. More expensive
2. Less selection
3. Spanish on keyboard

Hello!
Is anybody tried shipping a (new) laptop from us store (b&h/best buy etc..) to mexico?
I've read that computers are tax free, but I want to double check..

I have no problem of the shippment price, Im talking about fee&taxes.. Ive read that its goes upto 50% taxes..

I just came to mexico for a few months and I want to buy the pentax k50, how is the shipping thing goes? Would I need to pay taxes/shippment fee?

The miror is working fine but the shutter doesnt move.. And there is like an "oil stain" on it

Im on a trip right now and traveling with 4kg of rice and the camera inside it's getting pretty annoying..
I think as soon as I'll get to mexico I'll try to fix the shutter, or just buy a new one

But I´ve read that all the fungus and stuff can start even after a few weeks/months...
I´m gonna be in Mexico soon, is there something like B&H over there? so I could check the lenses and maybe buy the K50

OK so after some cheking I´ve found out that the problem is the shutter (it´s just not goes up)
The thing is, I dont mind buying a new camera, but do you thing I can trust the wet lenses? they seem pretty dry right now but I´ve heard that wet lenes die after a few months..

My K200D got really wet (was about 15 minutes in fresh water with my 8mm and 35mm lenses)
I dryed it in rice for 3 weeks and now the camera is working and the screen is 90% original colors.
BUT, when I try to take pictures they´re all turn out black.
I tried also taking pictures with a diffrent lens and it´s the same..
Do you think it´s a fixable problem?
Maybe send it to a lab?

When I was 9 (or something like that) my parents found a Canon EOS 888 in the park.
They tried to find the owners but they weren't found.
They put it in the closet for 2-3 years, and then I took it.
It was my first SLR camera, and my brother still uses it sometime.

I'll never lend my camera to a friend (and some even asked me for it!)
But If I'm shooting a friend's birthday or something and I get too drunk or just don't want to take pictures anymore I just give it to someone I can trust.
(But the pictures go out really bad because they cant work the camera)

Hey.
I just got my DBG3.
2 things:
1. Is the on/off button should turn the camera on/off or just the grip?
2. Canon BG-E3 is wayy better.

I can't see why Pentax didn't decide to adjust the BG2 for K200D also.
Or why didn't they make the AE-L button a universal one, so you could choose what do you want it to do (from the menu or something)
