After acquiring my first Pentax SLR almost 30 years ago - an early H3v, given to me by an Uncle, I have just bought an SV for old time's sake. I have owned an H3v (1987-1995), K1000 (1989-1998), ME super (1993-2002) and even a couple of Pentax digital compacts during my "digital dark ages".
Although I mainly shoot film for pleasure and digital for other stuff, I prefer film. Increasing pain from a spinal problem mean that I have had to return to a 35mm SLR for a camera I can carry around all day.
I'm hoping to give the SV some TLC and get out and use it. I shall have to buy some more M42 lenses, having traded mine in when I went over to K-mount fully in 1995.
