Thanks for the reply. I wouldn't really return it to seller, because seller kept the lens in great condition and it almost looked brand new on outside and with mint condition leather box, all for $25, although he never mentioned the bad haze, which doesn't match the description.
I tried maximum heat with possible from a hair dryer (it was very hot to hold) but it didn't help. I will try to use a wrench before heating it in kitchen oven to avoid the risk of glass shattering :). Hopefully I will be able to clean them, if not an extension tube for macro.

Hey Guys,
I acquired a 2x adaptall 2 teleconverter from ebay, but the lens has too much of haze. I was able to dismantle the cemented lens barrel from the teleconvertor body and I opened up the cemented barrel with the help of hair dryer. I am stuck with the wider side of the barrel, no matter what I do I am not able to rotate it. Am I doing something wrong? I tried pouring some Zippo liquid, used some hammering on the screwdriver back, holding it on to the front marks. But no luck. All the haze is at the wider part of the barrel and I am out of ideas.
Could anyone help me with this? I still dont know, whether it is threaded or glued.
