Hello, in the process of tearing down my Pentax K-30 to resolve the underexposure issue, I seem to have screwed up the armature in the process.
Does Pentax or anyone offer replacements for this seemingly obscure part? :hmm:

Thanks all for the responses!!
My lens doesn't appear to have an aperture ring; it has one for manual focus, and another narrower one which appears to be for zoom. I will give the Russians' fix a shot and hope for the best; worst case I may buy a newer Pentax body. :):):)

I own a K-30 which has developed the underexposure issue.
I've found a thread where apparently some folks in Russia have found a way to tear down and fix the camera, so I'm planning on trying this as I'm handy with electronics and don't want to pay some $200+ to send it off to be repaired. In case I fail though, is there a chart or other docs that might indicate whether the lenses that came with my K-30 (e.g. Pentax brand 18-55 mm autofocus) would be compatible with newer Pentax models?
Thanks in advance for any help!! :)
