Still happening to me. Downloaded a few photos to my Macbook and now getting the card not formatted message. The card was ejected properly. Unfortunately I didn't turn my camera on until I was in the mountains and had to use another camera because I didn't want to lose all the photos on the card.

After downloading pics and putting card back in K-1 I get the message that card is not formatted. I ejected the card properly from my Macbook. Never had this problem before. Other card worked fine and no issues. Cards were Sandisk Extreme Pro.

This just happened to me as well. I always eject the card before removing from my Macbook.
