Thank you all! It's good to be here. Looking forward to our annual (at least) trip to the North Shore of Lake Superior in a few weeks. Always good for some awesome photo opportunities. Really looking forward to having the KP with this year.

Hi -
I have been a member for over a year and a half and have enjoyed reading posts, reviews, etc. I bought my first Pentax, a K-70, in the fall of 2016 and have really enjoyed it. Prior to that I had a Samsung but discovered quickly that those that had posted in other forums that a viewfinder is absolutely necessary were correct. I recently was able to get a great deal on a new KP and am really liking the camera along with the two limited primes I also just got (35 macro and the 70mm). I'm still pretty much a beginner at this photography thing. I wish I had realized how much I would enjoy it much earlier in life (though I'm only 51...:)).
