Thanks Des. I see now where it says "with exceptions" - had not noticed that before. And yes, I turned it off, saved it and other settings to the User Mode. Then go back to "P" mode where it is still off, then turn it ON, then return to Time Lapse User Mode and it is still ON.
So I think you are correct, it must be one of the exceptions. I'll just have to turn it off when I use that mode. It's not a show stopper, just an inconvenience (have to remember to turn it off).

Usually when using P Mode, I like to have Instant Review turned on (5 sec). But one of my User Modes is for Time Lapse, so to conserve battery life I want to turn Instant Review OFF. Unfortunately it seems that this function is "global", meaning that it can't be customized to a specific user mode. Is there any way to turn Instant Review OFF and have it Saved in a user mode so it's off ONLY in the User mode?

Just another comment.
I have found that either an AC powered PD-65W, or a 65W car charger (both with USB-C to -C cable) will put my K3-3 into 'AC power' mode. Neither of these will charge the in-camera battery when the camera is switched to ON (both will charge when it is OFF).

For what it's worth, I've had a wobbly foot on my 150-450 for quite some time. Looking at now, it appears that it is the exact same problem as mentioned by vegasdenny. To my knowledge, I have not applied any undue stress to it.

Nice shot Kath.
A question if I may ask. Is that the Pentax 1.4 TC or other brand? Also, I've read some reviews or comments that thru the viewfinder autofocus with the 560 and a tc is 'unreliable' (or something like that). Any comments on this?

Thanks for the comments.
The snow on its back got my attention too - my hands were plenty cold, while this bird was just wandering around apparently indifferent to the snow.

Went for a walk during our "snowstorm" yesterday and came upon this Great Blue Heron stalking around. Didn't seem too worried about my presence so I managed to get off a couple shots, liked this one best.

I'm Tom.
This is a great forum! I have been reading, searching, lurking, etc, for many years now. The reviews, and opinions of numerous Pentaxians, has been invaluable to me in the past. I finally decided to join (better late than never).
My first DSLR (before that I used Minolta, film) was a Pentax *istDS, I've upgraded 3 times to my current K3. Lenses I use are various Sigma's and Pentax. My main photographic interests are nature & wildlife.
