And Pentax's only true mirrorless mount, since the K-01 has a big chunk of metal on the mount.

Interesting, and somewhat expensive. Might consider it for my 25mm f/0.95 MF lens or double adapting other MF telephotos.

I have a Q10 - it's the only digital Pentax I'll ever have unless they decide to do mirrorless FF (yeah, right, like that's gonna happen!)

In the absence of a real cross-reference, an easy way to do this is on Ebay. Look up the battery, and it will give listings from sellers eager to show everything the batteries are compatible with.

"Big" system?
I shoot micro four thirds, a format I was introduced to by none other than Pentax with the Auto 110 back in 1979.
Too bad they didn't continue with it.
I have a Q10 in red with the 02 lens, a 110-Q adapter, and a lot of C mount lenses and adapters.

I have mine on 3 computers, one smartphone, and 2 SD cards in MP3 players. My photos are on one computer and two hard drives in different locations.
I think I'm OK unless we get nuked, and then I think I won't be editing photos OR listening to music... ---------- Post added 11-27-19 at 06:56 PM ----------
Yeah, we all know that. It would be fun though. Flagship APS-C is no fun. And OVF < EVF < NOVF.
I guess the Q will have to do. ---------- Post added 11-27-19 at 06:58 PM ----------
I'm listening to my 1965 tube ham radio right now. Keeps the radio room warm and still fun to play with.

I would definitely have bought one, and would do so now. After all, they started the four thirds system concept back in 1979 with the Auto 110.
I have that, a ZX-M, a K1000, and a Spotmatic in my film collection, along with a Q10.

I did my latest lens cap mod and got a CS long zoom to infinity focus at the wide end, halfway to full zoom. I'm going to see if I can bring it in any closer.

None of these would be of any use to me. Better (faster) LCD with more resolution is at the top of my list, followed by better IS and global shutter.

I don't have problems with the Q10 LCD in sunlight, but the lag bugs me. It has the worst lag of any camera I've used.
It's the only camera that will really work well with all C mount lenses. That to me is its strong point.

As always with cancelled cameras, it made a good second camera but not a first. In my case, it's a fifth.

These discontinued small cameras are still sought after, especially since other similar cameras are slowly increasing in size with each model update. They get discontinued because they make excellent second cameras but not first cameras.

I like Pentax. I like mirrorless. I have K mount lenses. Of course I'm interested.

This is the old DSLR vs. Micro Four Thirds war, only turned around. Yes, I think micro four thirds is better than the Q format. It didn't stop me from buying a Q10 though. Why? I wanted the smallest sensor so I could use my C mount lenses, which despite what everyone says never really perform well on micro four thirds. It also gives me another camera to use my Pentax 110 lenses on. It's also fun to use and show off to the full frame crowd, just like I did with the Auto 110 back in 1981. It's a fun camera to use, and I like small cameras. So while it will never be a replacement for shooting with my E-M5 II, it stands alone in a class by itself.

I'm glad someone has had good results with Wasabi. I went through three for my E-PL5 and they were all at 70% of rated capacity and nowhere near their exaggerated printed rating. One swelled up and failed after 11 months. The cells may be called "made in Japan" but they matched Chinese cells in capacity.
Also, ALL lithium rechargeable batteries are rated at 3.6 volts per cell or 7.2 volts per pack. Maximum full charge is 4.2 volts per cell and 8.4 volts per pack. Anything else is just manufacturer talk and means nothing. Any charger will charge ALL batteries to the same voltage - the correct safe voltage being no more than 4.2 volts per cell. Some may push them to 4.35 volts per cell, which shortens cycle lifetime.
Can you tell that my day job involves working with batteries?

I got my Q10 for the Auto 110 nostalgia / lenses and my collection of C mount stuff. It's a fun camera to play with, but not a micro four thirds replacement.

,,,still fun to use. It looks like a baby DSLR, comes in cool colors, and can use EVERY adapted C mount lens without vignetting or sensor bumping. It fills a need, and should not be discontinued. The Auto 110 lenses with adapter fit nicely.

That is the "theoretical" limit. I haven't done my towel test yet to see where it actually occurs, which I did on MFT and found it to be anything above f/5.6. In any case, I'd need to pixel peep the RAW files to see where it's really at.
As for the MTF chart, it's known to us MFT people that the 110 lenses do better stopped down, and are anywhere from slightly (primes) to a lot (20-40 zoom) faster than f/2.8 with no external aperture.
And yes, there's a lot of stuff in that 02 lens. Putting the shutter in there certainly gives a lot of flange distance to work with on the camera when using some C-mount lenses that protrude (intrude?) a lot.

So far, it's been a fun little camera. Definitely a "power point and shoot." The tiny sensor is great with C mount lenses of all types. I tried it with a 16mm f/1.6 and a 8-80 f/1.2 zoom (220mm equivalent on micro four thirds, my usual point of reference) with good results - both lenses are below the diffraction limit (isn't that about f/2?)
The 02 zoom seems a little big compared to the C mounts! That and I'm not used to a non-locking backwards zoom with the release button on the other side. Reminds me a little of the 20-40mm 110 lens the way it works. It would be nice if there was more of a choice of "native" lenses, although I have a good collection of C mount glass.

The camera I compare to the Auto 110 is the Panasonic GM1 because of its four thirds sensor, but I just bought a Q10 today so we will see...now I need to find an adaptor.

...when the four thirds format was called 110 film, and the SLR was the Pentax Auto 110. I still have the camera and 4 lenses - did you know that the 20-40mm f/2.8 zoom is actually f/2.0 when not on the 110? Yes, I have adapters.
Last month I bought two ZX-M cameras and I just got the prints back today from my first roll. They seem to do just fine with my K mount lenses that I've been using on micro four thirds. Also today I bought a Q10 and adapter to use with some miscellaneous C mount lenses I've been collecting since day one. Should be fun.
