Thanks for the replies. To start the process of elimination, I have 5 batteries and the problem exists with all of them. I checked the firmware and I have the latest version (1.10). I will try to upload the video to YouTube and post the link.
The camera was purchased from Amazon. I will check to see if they keep the two year warranty.
I will try to post again sometime today.

My K3ii is just over a year old and has performed well up until now. A week ago, I wanted to get some pics of my granddaughter in her marching band exhibition. The first picture worked as usual but after that, there was an extra noise coming from inside the camera, and the picture came out black on the review. It continued this way for the rest of the shoot, and it is still doing it. I removed the lens and watched inside as the shutter was activated., I have sent a video showing what happens. Hopefully it plays. Make sure you have volume turned up. It's very frustrating, and I no longer want to use it until I get this resolved. Any info you can send to me will be greatly appreciated.

I have a K-3 ii and have added a Sigma 50-500 zoom. I'm looking to purchase a teleconverter and am wondering if anyone has a similar setup. I have read somewhere that some of the tc's can't use autofocus. Is this is true, what are my options? Hoping someone can answer this. Thanks

Thank you, guys! It seems that you were right about the dust inside the mirror box. Initial tests proved successful and I will give it a more thorough going-over tomorrow. I knew the answer would be in here someplace, and you never let me down! Cheers!

Greetings all. I have a K20d that I purchased in 2009. Until recently, it has worked like a Pentax should. Never had a problem with anything. About 2 weeks ago, the AF became erratic. Sometimes it worked and other times it roamed back and forth and would stick in a non-focused state. Seems to be the same no matter which lens I use. I have the kit DA 18-55 AL, DA 55-300 ED, D FA 100 macro, and FA 50 1.4. Is it old age setting in for my K20? Any suggestions on where to start?

Very new here and I suspect this question has been answered already. If so,please direct me..,. otherwise, I would like to know what is the largest size SD card that the k20d will hold. I went overboard and bought SDXC 64 G, which don't work. I suspect the firmware is responsible, but I have the latest. I realize I don't really need anything that large, but I want to start shooting RAW. Does the class number mean anything? My existing cards are class 6.Hope someone can sh4ed some light...
