Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the Pentax DA 16 - 85 ED DC WR and DA 55 - 300 ED WR lenses are free of hotspots if used for IR photography on a K3ii. I believe the 18 - 55 kit lens is suitable.

HI, no I don't think so, it appears to be fixed/jammed/connected somewhere in the middle. Does anyone have any images of how it looks with the foot removed and the metal pieces hanging down? I am going away for the weeknd so I will try again on Monday with a clear head. Thanks

Hi yes it's the first generation Af 360 fgz. The foot separates partly and then won't move more. I don't know what else I can do as it is certainly fixed somewhere and i don't want to force it as i may damage it completely.

Hi everyone, I have a replacement foot for my Pentax 360 flash and I am trying to change it. So far I have unscrewed the four outher screws and removed the base unit. I have removed the four inner screws and thiough the foot is now loose I can't remover it to put the new piece. How do I release what I believe is the locking pin that is sticking up inside and presumably is stopping me remove the foot? Thanks for your help.

Hi, Yes, I switched the camera off and checked the firmware and it has updated successfully.and is working normally. Thank you all for your help and concern. In a few months I am leaving on a three month hiking trip so I need everything to be ready and working perfectly, if the camera had been damaged it would have been a disaster!

Hi, I bought the K3ii about a month ago and am just updating the firmware for the first time. The screen showed "Loading Now" and the next time I looked at it a few minutes later the screen had gone black and there is nothing to tell me how the update is progressing. It has been about 15 minutes now. How long should I wait before I can safely assume that the update is complete and switch the camera off? Thanks for your help.
