Yes, it would be quite impossible to be at chosen aperture. However i realized that i shoot quite closed for landscapes,and for portraits/stuff wide open anyway, so it makes no big issue for me. More annoying for me is the a7r shooter sound.

I did, i choose Sony A7R and i use also my Pentax lenses on it with adapter that has aperture control.
My expectations were met, it's the most lightweight sony full frame option and probably also most lightweight in general.
Paired with 88g Pentax HD DA40 it's very easy to hold, no issue also with Pentax 100mm WR.

I enjoy 36MPx in small package, but when i need to shot action i take my K5IIs what is not so often.

I also don't understand this trolling from windows fans. E.g. I wouldn't go asking to photo forum about why my TCP/IP stack disappeared suddenly on windows.
It's clear OP already found solution and the support is available in recent versions of all mentioned photo sw.

Which version of darktable did you tried?
darktable should have K-70 support since 2.0.7
Are you using the darktable PPA as written on install | darktable ?
