Run warm water over the neck, as close to the stopper as you can get?
As was mentioned, thermal expansion is all you have to work with.

NASCAR has shown shots of him at the Xfinity and truck races, out there with his vest on, photoing the races.

I do all of my post processing on RAW Therapee. It he's the option to either desaturate to B/W or use their B/W functionality, AND ITS FREE![emoji3]
It also has workflow and pre-set options that I don't use.

Lol. Cute shot.
I would have given you a weird look as well. My son's nickname is "Woody".

From what I have read, what Pentax bodies have the most trouble with is objects heading into the lens at an angle. Maybe test a straight path from 30 degrees and 60 degrees off of your shoulders? |

I need to update my copyright data to this year. I've been too busy to pull my camera out, so far.
I include my first and last name, as well as a ...tertiary free email address.
Once upon a time, yahoo would let you create "disposable" email addresses that you could use and then delete. I kept one of those to use for places I didn't feel safe, spam wise, using one of my primary addresses. (Freebies and giveaways, you perverts :D ) It eventually forwards to my primary, after the junk mail is filtered out.

Another motorhead here, and, while I enjoyed seeing the 7, I honestly think the cathedral shots are my favorites of that series.
I once had a video game that allowed me the option to drive that Lotus on various real and imagined tracks, and it was a beast to control at full speed. Very sensitive to input, both steering and throttle. It was still one of my favorite cars in the game. (The Elise was another.)

Since you essentially export the image to whatever your preferred format is, you don't overwrite the data in the RAW file. Most (all?) RAW processors will save your steps that you used to achieve you image, but you can always revert to the original data.
Technically, RAW is a data file, rather than an image file, and you process the data to make the .tiff, .bmp, .jpg, etc.

Because that little bitty screen on the back of your camera doesn't show you exactly what the image you captured will look like.
Even the Film-era greats like Ansel Adams made adjustments in the dark room to hone there images to exactly what they wanted the viewer to see. Sharpness, saturation, composition, they can all be modified to tell the story better. Post processing is the digital darkroom.
If you are only capturing images in jpeg format, you are at the mercy of whatever algorithms your camera uses to produce the jpeg. Capturing in RAW format both allows and nearly requires that you post process your images to pull them to where you wanted them. RAW captures way more data for the image (hence the huge file sizes), and allows you to cull what you don't want in the file. Too dark? Move a few sliders and get rid of some shadows. Too light? Same thing for highlights.
You can take an image from mild to wild, or vis versa, and, when you output to a jpeg for sharing, the RAW file still has all of its original data, so you could go back to 0 and start again.

You can also back up to Google Photos, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.
Google drive is $3 a month for 100 Gb, with the ability to share files, or not, at your whim.

On your device, create the folder you will save your photos to, using the Files program.
Open Amazon's Photo app. In the bottom, right hand corner of the app screen, select the "More" button.
On the More screen, select "Settings", and then select "Autosave".
On the "Autosave" screen, select "Manage Folders", and then select 5he folders you want to back up to Prime Photos. The folder must be already on the device to be able to select it. You should also deselect any folders you don't want backed up at this time.
Good luck, and enjoy your holiday!

Another good concept shot would be the pristine lens juxtaposed with, for instance, the chaos of a leaf-covered picnic table, the table being only in focus in the ball.
I could see myself pulling it out several times per year, if I thought the shot could benefit from such.
I have one in my wishlist on Amazon, but it's been in there for quite some time. Althought it's not terribly expensive, I can never convince myself that this is the time to put it in my cart.
Maybe next time.

A pair? I thought it was a double, akin to a tandem bike. I had already deduced, in my mind, how to make the
Front wheels turn together. ;-)
Darn....:-\

That scenario is more weird than anything. I would have thought you package would have "gotten lost in the warehouse", rather than drawing attention from 2 recipients. Very odd.

Nah. To each his (or her) own. I admit I find the majority of color HDR images way overdone, but that's personal preference. I'm not going to condemn them all out of hand.

While the goal used to be to have the perfect image OoC (Out of Camera), back when I output only jpeg images, my current ideal is to be able to adjust RAW images to what my [faulty] memory says I saw.
I will, occasionally, adjust an image into the realm of the exotic, if I think it's warranted, but that is the exception, rather than the rule.

FAN-tastic! I'm glad to see the little camera works, given the love you put into the rebuild. The double-exposure sure added a lot of texture to the landscape!
Thank you for allowing us to ride along for the full journey.

Make sure the contacts are clean and line up? Maybe put a little alcohol on a paper towel and wipe down JUST the contacts and make sure it pokes out like it is supposed to.

In order to make myFire more "user friendly", I modified the OS to add Google Play Store functionality. This improved it's usability as a tablet computer.
You can Google the instructions, and they're easy to follow. You do not have to "root" the tablet to do this, and you get access to familiar Android apps. MOST apps. Some apps won't be available because FireOS is usually based on a version of Android that is 1 or 2 generations behind the current one.
The main drawback to this is the low RAM available on Fire tablets. It can fill up rather quick, and slow things down.
