Mostly for server space.
A better option is to host the image on a file sharing site (flickr.com is popular), and post the URL between IMG tags.
That way, the server gets the low res images it likes, and clicking on the photo allows users to view your image in all of its high res glory.

Hopefully this year will improve.
I worked the whole time, but whatever I get back always goes to pay my property taxes, so...(shrug).

Lol. Cute shot.
I would have given you a weird look as well. My son's nickname is "Woody".

From what I have read, what Pentax bodies have the most trouble with is objects heading into the lens at an angle. Maybe test a straight path from 30 degrees and 60 degrees off of your shoulders? |

I need to update my copyright data to this year. I've been too busy to pull my camera out, so far.
I include my first and last name, as well as a ...tertiary free email address.
Once upon a time, yahoo would let you create "disposable" email addresses that you could use and then delete. I kept one of those to use for places I didn't feel safe, spam wise, using one of my primary addresses. (Freebies and giveaways, you perverts :D ) It eventually forwards to my primary, after the junk mail is filtered out.

Because that little bitty screen on the back of your camera doesn't show you exactly what the image you captured will look like.
Even the Film-era greats like Ansel Adams made adjustments in the dark room to hone there images to exactly what they wanted the viewer to see. Sharpness, saturation, composition, they can all be modified to tell the story better. Post processing is the digital darkroom.
If you are only capturing images in jpeg format, you are at the mercy of whatever algorithms your camera uses to produce the jpeg. Capturing in RAW format both allows and nearly requires that you post process your images to pull them to where you wanted them. RAW captures way more data for the image (hence the huge file sizes), and allows you to cull what you don't want in the file. Too dark? Move a few sliders and get rid of some shadows. Too light? Same thing for highlights.
You can take an image from mild to wild, or vis versa, and, when you output to a jpeg for sharing, the RAW file still has all of its original data, so you could go back to 0 and start again.

A pair? I thought it was a double, akin to a tandem bike. I had already deduced, in my mind, how to make the
Front wheels turn together. ;-)
Darn....:-\

Since you essentially export the image to whatever your preferred format is, you don't overwrite the data in the RAW file. Most (all?) RAW processors will save your steps that you used to achieve you image, but you can always revert to the original data.
Technically, RAW is a data file, rather than an image file, and you process the data to make the .tiff, .bmp, .jpg, etc.

Nissan, though I did go the sporty route...
Everybody and their sister has a Mustang or Camaro around here. Like my cameras, I wanted something different...

On your device, create the folder you will save your photos to, using the Files program.
Open Amazon's Photo app. In the bottom, right hand corner of the app screen, select the "More" button.
On the More screen, select "Settings", and then select "Autosave".
On the "Autosave" screen, select "Manage Folders", and then select 5he folders you want to back up to Prime Photos. The folder must be already on the device to be able to select it. You should also deselect any folders you don't want backed up at this time.
Good luck, and enjoy your holiday!

Wrist bands like tennis players wear (wore?). They were about 2" - 3" wide, as I remember them.

Another good concept shot would be the pristine lens juxtaposed with, for instance, the chaos of a leaf-covered picnic table, the table being only in focus in the ball.
I could see myself pulling it out several times per year, if I thought the shot could benefit from such.
I have one in my wishlist on Amazon, but it's been in there for quite some time. Althought it's not terribly expensive, I can never convince myself that this is the time to put it in my cart.
Maybe next time.

FAN-tastic! I'm glad to see the little camera works, given the love you put into the rebuild. The double-exposure sure added a lot of texture to the landscape!
Thank you for allowing us to ride along for the full journey.

My first reaction was hilarity at the thought of there being an award for taking photos of insects, followed by a giggle at them being incensed that said insect was drugged.
Maybe this is a method I could use for portrait photography?
(My macro photography endeavors have been limited to photos of my tied flies for use in forum posts)
After reading the article, I have a better understanding of the issues inherent in having to take stacked images of a live subject, but these people are getting sideways over not killing insects, the most numerous creatures on the planet. I could understand it more if they were simply concerned with having a level playing field, but that wasn't what most of the objections were.
I am losing all faith in humanity.

I use RAWTherapee to process my files if I want to produce jpeg files.

Oddly enough, or maybe not, given his usual subject matter, Louis Lamour had a lot in his stories about The One's Who Came Before, or what was known about them in the 40's and 50's. He made an effort to be as historically accurate as he could, and loved writing about that history. I really enjoyed that about his stories. They weren't all gunplay and horses.

Or night shots of Saturn...
That is an ...impressive sized lens. As noted above, I, too would be interested in seeing a few shots through this monster.

Look for a micro file set. I got mine from harbor freight. Light strokes and magnification are your friends. Just don't get in a hurry. (I don't want to talk about it...)
