Ok, any idea what does the padlock button do?
Maybe it disables touchscreen? But for that we have sensor under viewfinder. I don't know what can it do.

Any chance to translate it? Or better, if someone, who can understand it, could translate it from law&science language to human language?
I must say that Google-translated text from Japanese to Polish is kind-of gibberish.

I'm standing in same situation, especialy, that about month ago my K50 has broken and repairing it will cost much more, than it is worth.
So far i bought used K5 and i'm waiting.
I would buy KP if it has GPS. But now i'm waiting for K3 successor and collecting money.
If it will not be so good, i can still buy KP, or even jump the ship ang buy something non-pentax, especially, that lately i'm starting to play with video.
But for me, 100% satisfying K3 successor would be KP + GPS + a little bit better video. I know i will not get tilt screen probably, and that's not so good, but i can live without it. BUT GPS is now must-have for me as person who travels a lot (mostly locally, but still) and geotagging my images semi-manualy is way too much work right now.
So, if KP dos what you need, go for it, it's getting quite cheap lately. If not, collect money and wait, you can always buy KP later, it will be on marke for few years i think :) And i'm sure you'll find some way to spend extra money :)

I didn't put much work in postprocessing on my image. Honestly, I don't realy know lightroom or photoshop much, probably i should take some courses.
Here's sliders in lightroom.
Also, there is minor crop (there was some treetops on bottom, so i cropped image to remove it) and some dust removing. That's all, not even lens correction.
All other settings are on lightroom defaults.
I had to correct hightlights, because i was shooting almost directly toward sun and on fog was way to bright. Sometimes i wish there was more than +/-100 value :) Here's how it looks without any post, SOOC if you realy want to know.
I'm sure there was some image-stacking done on night images with stars, but is it bad? I do not see it as interference in the picture or photomontage, but rather as a way to walk around the limitations of the equipment, and this is not a bad thing for me.

On K50 I was usually using 400, rarely went up to 800, above this there was too much noise for me.
Now I have k5 and I haven't tested its limits so far, I'm still staying with 400 max 800.

Great set, I'm happy to be in this 15, but seeing competition it will be hard.
And about PP - sure I've done some, but not so much. Some minor crop and dust removing + minor microcontrast, highlights and shadows control. It's more about being in right place in right time of day (or night).
But PP is always done, no matter if I let camera do it or I'll do it myself.

Congratulations to winners.
I've tried hard, but 100 posts without spamming seems to not possible for me. Maybe this month?

Probably that's why we have not 64 and even 108 MPX sensors on smartphones, yest you can't make with them image bigger, than ~16MPX. They realy make over 100 megapixels sensors, just they average nearby pixels to make noise harder to notice. Signal is same at every pixel, noise is random - sometimes pixel is too bright, sometimes too dark, average should be around 0 in theory.
And sometimes those sensors can't even be read at their full resolution, they average image in sensor electronics.
I wander if we could do this kind of "cheating" in "big" cameras.
