A folk dancer from Straw Bear festival, the blacking up is in no way racial. Goes back to a tradition when farm workers just after new year had a day of mischief, often against future employers, they blacked their faces to avoid being recognised.

Thanks for pointing this out, will rectify if used again.
Taken in the Street with crowds around. Had to cut out face, and beard, my bit of cloning to tidy up that edge not done properly.

Hi just joined forum something been meaning to do for a long while. A long time Pentax user going back to K1000, ME Supers, SUPER A, plus others. Then K10, K5 and now K3ii.
No speciality but currently into portraits.
