Update:
Took the body apart, and found that one of the cables on the shutter board came off. (Circled in red in 1st pic)
Simply re-soldered it back to where it supposed to be. (Circled in red in 2nd pic)
3rd pic - Camera in Live View.
Also, if you're having problems with aperture, the electromagnet (Circled in green in 2nd pic) is the thing you're looking for to fix. (Mainly the anchor inside of it)
Anyway, both aperture and shutter problems are now gone.

Thanks to everyone for suggestions.
Good luck,

Vlad

Both mirror and aperture actuate normal in all modes and shutter speeds.

It was a hair which disappeared this morning. Also tried removing a battery for around 10 minutes, but no luck.

On the outside fibres itself look correct, if referring to Google images. Couldn't find the one from K-50 but I assume they used the same shutter in K-5ii.

The mirror goes up in the live view, but the shutter still is stuck closed, so all I get is pitch black screen.

Hi,

I have a Pentax K-50 and the shutter got stuck closed. I had a problem with aperture motor but I fixed be cleaning a sanding the magnet, (There is thread on Russian forum) but this is not the case just now. Aperture is working fine now with Pentax A 50mm f2 Lens in Auto aperture mode.
Could the shutter possibly got stuck while I was reassembling the camera? Is there anything I can try to bring it back to live?

Took some pictures of the shutter with mirror up in Bulb mode.

Thank you,

Vlad.
