I'm going to get a 49mm adaptor for my Cokin P series filter holder so that I can use it on my Pentax prime lenses. However looking at my 15mm limited lens it looks as if the retracted lens hood will obstruct mounting of the adaptor ring. Has anyone tried this and found problems or got a work around?

I use my pre DG Sigma 100-300mm f/4 EX with my K-S2 and get brilliant results - no problems at all

A couple of shots from my old Sigma 100-300 f4 EX, originally purchased from my MZ-S 35mm SLR but now used on my K-S2. Both shots hand held in quite windy conditions

My film GR was a fantastic camera, particular for rock climbing/mountain photography (Niche application?). the 28mm focal length was ideal and the body much more portable than my current compact a Canon G15, which has a smaller sensor. I'm often tempted to get a digital GRII but the price is a little off putting. One thing that may swing it for me would be an optical viewfinder (like the film original) without too much disruption to the form factor

Early days yet but very pleased with initial results, is it my imagination or does this lens give more of an impression of depth than an equivalent zoom?

My trusty Sigma EX 100-300 f4 originally purchased with my now defunct Pentax MZ-S continues to work well with my K-S2
