Tried that last night. Wasn't that cumbersome. Instead of first getting all positioned/zoomed right, and focused sharp and then just hitting the button, you do that and then have to open the iPhone, open the app, wait for the wifi to connect and then finally hit the button. I'll get the cable remote (thanks for the pointers), this app is a toy.

Great to join this forum! I have been using years K-x, especially in macro shooting. Yesterday I spend some of my annual bonus in upgrading to KP. The new thing has impressive properties for my needs. But misses the IR remote so back to the shop and get a special Pentax remote...
