Mine is before 12/2015 so in the likely to happen list of KS-2 Camera's. Thanks for the eBay tip as i usually buy things from there. If it fails the Guide to repairing it seems pretty straightforward and easy to follow. I have all the Tools required so no problems there. Fingers crossed it doesn't but i am prepared Thanks to you guys and this Forum.I have just enrolled in a online photography course and am hoping i can learn to use it to it's full extent. I have been a bit of a lazy photographer always using Auto but hoping to change that in the future. i am a bit old at 60 learning new things but i do have some knowledge though not a lot lol.

Got a used DA L 55-300 today and it came with a hood although i am not a big fan of them, can't wait for some decent weather to use it :)

Hi Guys
I finally managed to do the update, i was trying to do it the Canon way instead of the Pentax way. I held the menu button while switching the power on and the option to update popped up on my screen :). When i downloaded the update from the Ricoh site there was no readme file, just the bin file.
