i'm interested in the coverage for the MF image circle. much of what i've read (to include your referenced threads) shows that 50mm+ is safe on the 44x33mm sensor. i'm keen on finding out. anything unusable will end up on the sale forum.

by unusable, i mean unacceptably soft or otherwise without subjective character. intent is to post images attesting to the same for anyone else considering my path.

Adapted KAF lenses on GFX 50SII

Greetings.

So I’ve been mostly happy with the products of my K1mk1 and plethora of lenses. I’m at a point where I could explore options in other brands. I recently bought a Fuji GFX 50Sii body with the kit lens. I’m interested to share some of my reflections on switching from a very nice system to modern digital “MF”.

I’m interested to see how my KAF glass adapts. Bought a fotodiox adapter (KAF->GF) and will be conducting a comparison of the GF 35-70 to the DFA 24-70, as well as results of shooting KAF adapted lenses on the GFX 50SII. Not a ton of this particular content i could find on this forum, so happy to add some if there’s value added.

Can post results here if anybody is interested. If not, keep an eye out for my kit on the sale forum at some point in the future. Gotta reduce the camera shelf…

Got several lenses that are full of dust and spots i'd like to get cleaned professionally. No fungus or anything, just want to bring them back to how clean they were when i first mounted them years ago. Mostly newer lenses (24-70 DFA, 100 Macro, few others in the same vein). Any recommendations?

it'd be nice if it had the same screen as the K1 (with touch ofc). as a result, still trying to get the right feel to shoot off the ground or from above

GRIII with massive hands

So i just got a gr III street edition to complement my full rig as a daily carry. Problem is: it's really small and i'm not.

At 6'8", i can completely hide this thing in my mitts with room to spare.

My K1 is a great size for comfortable shooting, but have trouble keeping a secure grip without sloppily touching the screen or lens.

Any other large shooters solve this issue? Recommendations on a grip that makes it a bit easier to wield without defeating the portability completely?

Thanks!

Can't figure $1k for the new 50, but have a want for a normal lens to compliment my 77 ltd. I'm set with the 15-30, 24-70, and 70-200 DFAs. Also have the sigma art 35. Is $375 a good price for the 43ltd in "exc+" condition? Any tips for when I first mount this on my k1?

i got it, as images are being imported, the stars are clearly visible. upon some action by the program, the stars are wiped, although still faintly visible if you use the spot correction & visualize spots. anybody aware of any heavy processing by default?

Anybody have any issues with lightroom "eating" stars from astrotracer pics? My son took attached, had a nice cadence with the stars, but then was eliminated after standard preview (no additional corrections) auto load in lightroom. Any fixes for faint stars?
