Hi, I've just got the k1 , took a while to save for it but I love it. The answer to your question is a very simple one. Definitely yes.

Hi, thanks for that, I always tend to use the back button AF focus , I just find it so much easier. Have tried out the lens this afternoon in the garden and the tips I have been given are spot on. Thanks to you all

Can anyone help with this........I have the sigma 50-500 lens which is a great lens for the money but think I could be doing something a bit wrong. Images aren't that sharp and I wonder .......should the lens image stabilisation be on or off on thd lens if the camera has image stabilisation on? There are 2 settings on the sigma lens, do I use 1 or 2 or have it turned off all together? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Took this back in January. We had had a light dusting of snow overnight as well as a frost . The light I thought was just about as perfect as it gets. The sun was rising behind trees behind me and just lit the whole tree like a light had been switched on. Was worth the 20 min walk to get there . |

Hi, thx for your input jawsy . Did think about the tighter crop but was trying to incorporate the reeds on the side of the lake in the image. Was hoping they might act as some kind of leading line into the image. I would agree it is underexposed though. Thanks for your time , appreciate it.

Any ideas on which lens would work best with it? The 15-30 has a fixed lens hood so would not be able to use the lee filter system with it. Would prefer a prime anyway. Thanks

Hi to all, I'm nick. Use a k3 which in my mind is one of the best out there. Came here looking for answers to the pentax rumours that they were going to give up on the camera market but am pleased to find out that's it's all crap . Am looking to purchase the k1 in June so was a bit of a shock to think they were giving it up. Anyway ........what would be a good landscape lens for the k1, would be looking to use a lee filter system with it. ANYONE? Thanks nick
