I like 6 and 10 but I would need to have one in a raglan style only because when I go out the weather is so difference and would make it easier to wear. I go out like so in the spring summer and winter. If it is warm I get to just roll up the arms... Montreal Weather...

Hey gang,
I am a KS2 owner from which I have upgraded from two KX's. I have just joined a friend who has Nikon set up and she likes to go out to take pictures of nature. She enjoys to shoot whales, birds, dogs, horses and other animals. Most of her pics are at a distance due to necessity. I want to join her but I am a street type of photog and do not have anything for distance pics. I look around and I can not afford the cost of those quite large lenses and if I could I do not know which. Can someone one direct me towards something. I have the following lenses because I have been lucky to have inherited, bought, or had them included with my KX's and now my KS2. in the list after new it came with the KS2. I usually gravitate to a few lenses and now I am playing around with the new lenses as well as getting use to my KS2. Now can you either suggest a lens or maybe one of mine could do for it. I have played with the zooms I have but I have not had the time to stray from the usual since In Montreal has so much that i like to shoot at.

I do want one of those extremely large lenses but the cost and the lack of situations that I can use it stops me from doing so. Please guide me...

well I have a choice between the KX and the K2000. The K2000 I can get at 45$ or less depending on when I see it. the KX is 72$ also maybe less I am going to look at it and that one I know back and forth since i have one and love it.. with my budget and with my experience with Pentax's I have been lucky enough to get great deals on many things. So I am still on the fence regarding this..

Hey all,
I have and adore my K-X as my first real DSLR and I am not inquiring a K-2000 as a second camera at a great price. I need to know will it be worth it, is it SCHC compatible and what issues does it have. Now I am not using it as my main but I am going to use it with some of the odd lenses I have and try to use but never have the chance to. I am also going to use it in wet weather and daily travel since I am not going to pay much for it. I want it as a second camera. I love my K-x very much and I cherish it but like i said it is cheap and it uses my lenses ( I have been given many)
Give me as many feed back as you can....

My budget is slim but it give me something to look for used. I have been lucky I have at least 6 lenses with the items I have picked up. Even one guy gave me all his old stuff and it was amazing... I have a 28, 2 50's and other zooms, doubles, and some other items... All are what I call semi autos but the 28 isn't and hard as hell to get used to.

I want to know what would be the best lens of a car show. I usually use the stock lens and I know it is not to my liking. it is fine for outside but not for this... give me your feed back please..
