Pentax have developed a mirror less camera a few years ago just did not continue and a smaller sized digital system. I still own the small film slr system, which i enjoyed using. I thought once Ricoh took over we would see more developments in different camera bodies.
I did not move over to mirrorless camera, but to a very compact light camera, mirroless just helps make it more compact.

I buy a camera to use it and probably made a mistake upgrading from my kr to the k1, the k1 is very special, but large and the lenses that generally go with it. Fuji xt30 is very small with virtually the same spec as the xt3. Probably would not have changed ship if had bought the k70 or kp. I carry it around a lot more and use it. The autofocus is fast, and a bonus but my change was mainly driven by increased portability. I am irritated that pentax appear to have given up on mirrorless cameras. I listed the fuji lenses by request and mentioned briefly my thoughts on them. The 80mm macro is regarded as a superb lense, fuji are developing a substantial range of lenses, another reason to buy into their system.I started with Pentax film cameras and will keep those and am currently looking at obtaining an old digital pentax body but no rush.

Could not warrant keeping two deprecating cameras. I am very pleased with xt30, the kit lens for £50 extra, the 15 -45 mm, I initially thought would be a stop gap but has proved to be so good I have bought either side of that focal range. I have the zeiss 12mm, stunning colour rendering. Bought the 50mm f2, compact super fast, early days bokeh similar to my wonderful limited 70mm 2.4. Will feedback once more tested. The macro 80mm and 1.4 tele converter simply stunning.

I have not given up on my pentax kit but recently traded in my K1 for a fujifilm xt30. I am left with numerous film cameras. Fuji have already updated the software. I was very disappointed when the upgrade price of £600 for the k1 to become a k2 and the lack of new lenses being developed. Still the best value full frame camera, but i go very light and the fuji suits my needs better.

The limited 70mm 2.4 works very well with the K1. I liked the option of the cropping but also worked fine as full frame. On light trips i would just carry the above and the voigtlander 20mm 3.5.
Probably get both of these for the price of the 77mm limited.
