Hi Adam,
no, it has nothing to do with spot metering mode. I tried using creative, SV, SP, AP, TAV, M modes and in camera metering and I'm basically getting the same results, everything is looking way under exposed. To get the proper exposure, I have to open my shutter twice as long or longer....Even when I do a metering with my sekonic (which match the in camera metering),resulting in the same issue and under exposure. I dont know what else to do, I did a reset of the camera and I cant think of anything else....I left a message with Pentax a month ago and STILL havent heard back from them. This is really disappointing and I would expect better service because of the amount of $$ I have paid... :/ ---------- Post added 06-03-17 at 05:28 PM ----------

Hi Guys -
I have the 645z for about a year now, love the camera. As of about a month ago, I cant remember changing settings but for some old reason my camera is (what it looks like) stuck in one exposure setting or it looks like some Bracketing setting is setup and keeps making my images super dark.
For example, if my light meter says (back lite)125 2.8, i take those numbers and place onto the camera and when i take the photo, it comes out very dark!
I cant for the life of me figure this out. I was in the middle of a session when this happen and it took about 30 photos before it went back to normal setting normal exposures that i was getting from my light meter.
HELP!!!!!
