Let us hope not. A 1k run would make the lens unaffordable for many. For the benefit of Q users, recouping a profit over a long run of the macro lens would benefit more of us.

Greetings to all Pentaxians:
Before I can post photos or troubleshooting questions, I need to purchase a Pentax Q-S1 camera body. I have all the lenses that I want, but do not have the camera. 6th Avenue Express seems to be the only vendor left, but it adds unnecessary accessories and doesn't have the color which I want: the gold body with a grip in khaki green, burgundy or royal blue. I committed to the Q-system hook-line-and-sinker with four lenses, so I cannot back out now. I'm not looking to pay $950 for one though, but closer to what it sold for in the stores.
