First time I upload. Just for the fun.
A little bit of eastern France.
Thann Alsace. The very steep Rangen vineyards, where grape harvests are done with corded grape pickers
Sorry for the quality, but difficult to get the image down to the limited upload size.

Have to admire the nerve of Ricoh producing another GR apsc sensor camera in the same small package. The philosophy remains the same. What you see on the outside is the same, but what you get on the inside changes and in this case quite a bit. It is a small 'box' and you like it or you don't. More 'bells and whistles' are available elsewhere, but not in that package.
Look forward to next year.........................could drag on, but most people here are patient. What choice do you have? ;)

Thank you for the heading. I had a quick look around before posting. Guess I missed the most obvious. I'll have a glance and we'll see the result.

Morning from a stormy Alsace, eastern France where we recorded our highest temperature for the month of May yesterday, 34.7°C. It was really sticky.:(
I have never been a flash person, prefering to use natural light. But I must admit I have wished to have a flash unit attached to my K 10 on certain occasions.
So I have decided to look into the subject with your help dear Pentax users.;)
So straight question; For taking portraits what do you suggests apart from the Pentax flashes themselves?
Thanks in advance

Pentax K10D
Focus-numerique is a very good reviewing site touching on all digital subjects.
They have just completed an objective review of the K10 and their conclusion is that the K10 is the big surprise for the beginning of 2007.
Certainly giving 'canikon' a lot to think about.
If you can read French go and have a visit; There are plenty of other reviews.
Cheers;) jmi

DP review easy to use?
I disagree. DP review"s forum is a big mess!
All subject matters are mixed up. There are duplications of same subject threads, you can't always find what you are looking for or it can take a hell of a time.
It's untidy, messy, but of course interesting so we have to live with it. But there are a lot of waste of space subjects.
Some people might think this place a little serious, but it is much better organized than DPR. Time to go fishing ;-)

What a lot of rubbish. Of course you can use lenses other than Pentax provided that they have the pentax K mount system.
What would Pentax do if companies like Tamron or Sigma didn't produce pentax K mounted lenses?
Of course for older lenses you will need a lens adapter.
