Nice! You caught the colors of the streak. From green to red. I also got that and I hadn't seen this before but apparently it's normal: Pentax K-50, Samyang 16 mm @ f/2.0, 3 shots (out of 150!) of 25 s iso 800 stacked in PSE14 |

Here in London we had a rather eerie darkened orange sky and blood-red sun, courtesy of the "sahara sands" pulled up from the south by Ophelia. I took this mid-afternoon snap of the sun, sky and some flying leaves pretending to be vampire bats with a Super-Takumar 85/1.9
...and with the same lens, here's a more conventional sky with the sand in Southern England firmly on the ground... |

Takumar 200mm f/3.5. It works nicely with a monopod. 200mm is kind of hard for me to nail focus but I'll practice. Going to order a yellow filter for this lens next payday and shoot some BW! ---------- Post added 2017-09-27 at 00:25 ----------
I love the last image! Do your samples of this lens have a lot of LoCA?

This morning's sky was as spectacular as can be! 3 planets and the Moon. And all within the frame of my A50/1.4. |

When I bought my A400/5.6 last year I had the eclipse in mind. With less clouds it would have been perfect! (cross posted from astrophotography group)
1/250 s iso 200 f/5.6
My "best" corona shot (0.8s iso 200 f/5.6):
A 0.4 s exposure showing the prominences a bit better
Of course the clouds moved out after totality: |
