I’m also a K3 and K1 user owner with a lens selection.
No brainer for me... a trip to India :
If I am planning to take pictures to keep - K1 every time.
If its snaps - K3, or frankly, iPhone 8... these are brilliant and always handy.
I also use a Sony RX100 V... fantastic for travel and v inconspicuous in a crowd.
I fly to Japan in June... I will be taking pictures, and will have the K1 !

I'm late 40s and remember being 18 with my Canon A1 like it was yesterday. Friend had a Pentax and his images had a strangely different tone that I loved. Often same subject matters, but subtly different colours.
I've got kids and a lovely wife now and have snapped my way through life with a variety of family friendly cameras, mainly Canon compacts.
Then came the sony RX100 Mk 1. Wow. Compact masterpiece that reawakened the photographer in me. I've got the RX100 Mk5 now and the daughter uses the original.
Saw a K3 for sale locally and thought, that's for me. So far, just playing with it but looking forward to developing my skills.
