Pentax Rear Converter A 645 1.4X Asking Price
80.00 USD Item Location
Montreal (Canada) Item Description
This converter is in great condition with pouch. Optically very impressive. It was designed for the SMC Pentax-A* 645 300mm F4 and creates an effective 420mm lens! It’s amazing that even with the converter the 300mm retains its sharpness. It comes with front and rear caps. I used it with the Pentax 300mm listed separately. I’m asking $80 net to me, OBO. Pentax SMC 67 Shift 75mm f/4.5 LENS Asking Price
500.00 USD Item Location
Montreal (Canada) Item Description
This is a wonderful lens with great optics. It’s in beautiful condition, with pristine glass. The shift mechanism works perfectly with clearly defined and snappy dedents/stops. Focus ring is tight and smooth. It comes with a practically new Pentax PH-SA lens hood in its case. I have the front and rear lens caps as well. I’m asking $500 net to me. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

SMC Pentax-A* 645 300mm F4 ED (IF) LENS Asking Price
375.00 USD Item Location
Montreal (Canada) Item Description
This is my SMC Pentax-A* 645 300mm F4 ED (IF) lens. This lens is in great condition with very light (normal) signs of use. It’s a crazy sharp lens if shot at high shutter speeds and/or on a tripod. The rear element can use a cleaning but I never bothered as the element is difficult to access. It comes with front and rear caps, and original Pentax lens case. I’m asking $375 net to me (buyer pays PayPal, shipping, and insurance fees). I'm also selling the Pentax Rear Converter A 645 1.4X in a separate listing. It goes great with this lens. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

I'm not sure why I haven't become a member earlier but here I am. I shot film for many years, first with 35mm, then with medium format, and finally with 4x5 and 8x10. My life became increasing busy with family (three kids) and career (psychologist/teacher/researcher) so after much (very much) trepidation I decided to sell my analog stuff, including a fully equipped professional darkroom and buy a digital camera. This was one of the toughest decisions I ever made. I considered different cameras, of course, but I eventually settled on 645Z. It's been now about 2 years since I made the plunge, and I can honestly say that I am very happy with the decision after all. I became accustomed to the quality of optically enlarging medium format and 4x5 negs, and contact printing 8x10 negs. My darkroom even had a Durst 8x10 enlarger! I wanted the best digital sensor I could afford and the 645Z was it. The quality I get from the Z still amazes me. Yes, I sometimes miss the tactile nature of analog photography and the tonality of a properly contact printed 8x10 negative. I may return to that in the near future as my old trust Century Universal 8x10 is still be my side :) For now the Z does everything I need and I'm a happy camper.
I hope to contribute to the forum,
Thanks for reading.
