Astonishing landscapes. If you're curious about geology, Myron Cook has some AMAZING lectures on youtube. Cheers!

Nice and sharp. Never heard of that f3.2 lens. :P
On a serios note, love the shadows and all those details.
Have you tried it for astrophotography with the appropriate filters?

Quick snapshot of my Z-1p's viwefinder:
The crop lines are there. Your camera must have a replacement screen. Does it have a split prism, perhaps for manual lenses? As you can see, the original has a center circle marking the center weighted exposure setting and brackets for the AF spots (3 I think if I'm not mistaken).

Yes, I aimed to remove moving subjects (i.e. trikes aka tuk tuks, tourists walking) from the bridge by using long exposure.

Yes! It's one of the good links that popped up upon searching for the camera. Very detailed info on that page. I also found a channel on YT with a series of videos on how to CLA them. I learned quite a bit and it's gonna come in handy once I commit to the task one day of servicing a bunch of shutters from large format lenses I inherited.

I'm liking your pictures with the camera on this thread. May I ask how accurate the speeds on the Press Van are after all these years? Seems like a piece I'd like to shoot one day. Does it still shot 35mm film?

I use rechargeable CR2 batteries with my MZ-S (when the grip is too much), MZ-L and Z-1 models. Get a kit with charger and a few extra from ebay. Not expensive at all.

I have the Kipon and it works for those M42 lenses without an A/M switch.

^^^this. I've connected it through an HDMI to the TV. You could record it there. For a field setup, you would need an external recorder.

I still shoot with a K-5. It's a really good camera. You might want to go for the IIs. You'll only need to buy new batteries for it because most of them aren't performing as they used to when new.

It certainly seems the soligor on the last pic was focused on the red chair, too.
Did you use live view magnified to that specific crop to focus?

Wow, that camouflage!
Shame it wasn't perfectly in focus either.

^^^What he wrote.
Those orange/yellow markers seem to be for actual aperture after light loss, rather than working aperture. When the lens fully extends, it seems to lose two stops of light. This makes calculating your exposure easier.

Brass/bronze is mainly used for its auto lubricating properties (e.g. phosphor bronze, a type of copper and tin alloy), and yes, in corrosive environments, too. It all depends on the specific alloy. P bronze doesn't seize up like, for example, aluminium, which tends to because its protective corrosion layer is harder than the base metal. It's rather the opposite because phosphor tends to form low friction molecules. It's used in your engine oil's additives to keep it running smoothly in place of the earlier, toxic, lead.
Avoiding cracking is another matter that depends on the material toughness, elasticity (elastic deformation, rather than the catastrophic plastic one) and cyclic stress limit of the alloy. You can't have it all in one, so you have to make compromises and choose the right one depending on the expected working conditions of the piece, plus a little leeway. That leeway depends greatly on costs and safety. For a non human endangering piece you would try to make it as low as possible to save on material and thus costs, but keep it in a statistically reasonable failure rate for the products price point.

+1 to this one. I did the same with a 1.4x televonverter. It has Auto aperture, contacts and screw drive. Works with my DAF100 (and like others noted, with long zooms and teles) like a charm.
