Complete Monochrome conversion of Pentax K200D

In April 2021 I started the thread about Monochrome conversion of Pentax K200D.
Pentax K200D monochrome converted camera and pictures - Page 2 - PentaxForums.com

I decided to add some more pictures from Monochrome converted Pentax K200D. Some were shot in summer 2021 and have the visible black frame because not all Bayer CFA was removed. In Autumn 2021 I decided to go further and remove it completely. During this process I found that first attempt to remove Bayer CFA was incomplete not only at the edges of the sensor but also near them. This caused some visible stripes. So, after additional attempt everything was removed and UV-IR cut filter installed on top of the sensor to remove undesirable anti-aliasing effect of original filter and to get maximal sharpness from the sensor.

The last picture is in memory of non-survived sensors (and some are even not in the picture). But things get better - K-5, Ricoh GRii and Sony A6000 sensors were converted successfully and K-3 is waiting in the queue :)

... but can be overridden.

I have all lens correction turned off on my K1 and distortion and vignetting correction turned off on my K3iii. I only shoot Raw, and enable them in post processing occasionally, but I would rather have that choice as an opt-in rather than an opt-out.

I went down the retro road with Fuji. Growing up on 35mm SLR cameras I thought it would be like coming home. Honestly after shooting one wedding I hated the interface. Returned all the Fuji kit and here I am back with Pentax.

Having used an xt3 recently, something I thought I'd like, the manual switches, were something I ended up hating. Too easy to move, too many switches to flip for different settings and basically just irritating. It's funny how something you percieve is a good idea doesn't work on an individual level. I was glad to get back to my retro styled kp and modern control wheels.

It sounds about right if the standard authorized repair (replacement with a current-model module) was done.

Same question if they had continued to work with Samsung?
1. Dead
2. Thriving as a DSLR Company
3. Class leading in DSLR and Mirrorless
4. Other

Samsung made probably the most innovative mirrorless camera's that one can imagine. (That is MHO and each time I see the results of my wife's NX20.)

Yes, the darkest (almost black) with f3.2 with the DA21/3.2 and it would be alright if full stopped down to f22 + approriate exposure time.

The Exif data show that both photos are the same (time) with f5.0 and 1/250 sec., so near to wide open for the DA21/3.2 ltd.

That's why the first photo is not completly dark but quite dark, the second is the same photo but "photoshopped" or similar to make it more bright.
