I signed up for the forums so I can purchase some old Takumar and pk lenses for my Sony (I know, blasphemy am I right?). I adapt many m42, contax, nikkors, canon, and Minolta lenses. I must admit that after much research, pentax has the wide angle department locked down. Currently looking for 28 and 35mm 3.5 in pk mount (non-M).
If you are wondering what my favorite legacy lens is: Rokkor 58/1.2 followed closely by takumar 50/1.4 (8 element)

Welcome, I'm new to the forum too but not photography. I find I'm often overwhelmed from the menus of digital cameras as well, definitely more complex than my trusty mamiya film cameras!
