My K mount adapter got stuck on my K-5ii. Am afraid to to put it back on my camera. Anyone have any ideas?

Want to say hello to all my fellow Pentax users. I did not know this forum existed. I am an older pentax user. First real camera was the Pentax 645 manual. Nice camera. Have several lenses that I'm incorporating into my Pentax K-5II. Had the K-5II for about 4 or 5 years. Like it a lot.
Anyway will be here from time to time posting.
I live in Hawaii but am heading for Israel in January. Will post some pics then.
