I'd replace my GRi any day with a Q-S1 if it had a fixed and collapsible lens:
Small size, satisfyingly tactile buttons, plenty room to tweak color filters for jpegs, workable raw files and all the multi-exposure modes, just naming few.
That would be my GR-three.

Hi,
Would you mind sharing the 3D model for local printing?
I have never done 3D printing or designing, but have seen many printable Pentax Q adapters and accessories at Thingverse and other similar sites.
This accessory of yours is the first I really would like to have.
There is a 3D printer in our public library. It is operated by the staff, so I'd only need to take there a 3D file in a USB stick to get it printed.
I'd be happy to make a donation to your PayPal account, of course.

Thank you! :)
Those are from traffic lights at a 200m distance with a couple of cars and some raindrops on the wind shield. Focused at minimum distance possible.
(Just sitting in my car waiting for someone and passing time..)

Sweet images previously. Really impressive.
Just trying bokeh with Q-S1 + native 06 lens @ 43mm (and how to post a flickr image to forum). |

Hello,
Recently aquired a Cosinon-T 135mm f/3.5.
Here is my aperture test with Q-S1. The moon was shot trough triple layered window, but the difference seems clear enough for me.
Pictures were shot at ISO 100, only changing the aperture and compensating that with shutter speed. JPG's strait out of camera (M mode). No PP other than cropping and combining them to this one image. Best aperture was f/5.6. (..followed by f/8 and then f/3.5. Above f/11 was unusable).
--------
Edit: Added a day light shot as well (totally overcast and grey day). This is a JPG from camera with minor adjustment in PP. The person in blue is about 400m away. Full image + 100% crop. I'd say it is quite usable lens for color photography :)
