It’s definitely a Petri bayonet. My late father had a Petri FT (1967), a Petri M 42 to Petri bayonet adapter and a preset T2 zoom lens (SUN or Vivitar, i do not remember) with a T2 M42 adapter. I later used the zoom lens on a Pentacon Pentor Super TL together with a Pentax Takumar 1,4 50 mm lens.

I have that lens, bought it second hand when I was still taking pictures with a film camera. I do not remember that it was “cheap” when it was produced, but I can be wrong.
The first review by Volosong states (and I agree):
“The construction quality is typical of K and M series lenses. All metal and glass. No plastic here! Optically, it was not anywhere as good as the 50/1.4 or 50/1.7 lenses. Probably on par with the 50/2.0 lens. The lens attained 'cult' status and was desirable only because of its size, not because of its optical qualities.”

I have the same problem with my Toshiba Flashair 32 GB Eye-Fi card on my K3 mk I. It used to work, but I only used it to view the pictures taken on my iPad. Now, the K3 does not recognize the Eye-Fi functionality anymore…
I also have the Lightning to SD card adapter to view/transfer the files.
Did not realize it earlier, because i always transfer the files using a SD card reader to my Windows computer.
By the way: my K3 has firmware version 1.42.

Meanwhile I had the courage to perform the update. I have a A7II with the latest firmware and the update took about a second.

I did got it to work. I quickly tested two lenses:
- SMC Pentax-A 50 mm F1:2: works fine (the only A-lens I have)
- Tamron Adaptall 2 SP Macro 90mm F 1:2.8 (72B): more or less works
You do have to prefocus the lens manually until the adapter's AF works. With my A-lens I had to set the manual focus distance on the lens to around 10m, to have a working AF around 2m away.
With the Tamron Adaptall lens (with PK-A adapter) it is more difficult, also due to the small depth of field, you have to turn the manual focus ring until the AF is responding. Actually, focus peaking is easier and more accurate.
It does not know. The adapter is communicating a focal length of 35 mm with the F AFA 1.7x.
More tests will follow.

On Monsteradapter.com the notes where only available in Chinese, google translated them for me:
*1: Autofocus and body aperture control are only effective when the aperture ring is set between F4.5-F32. If the aperture value set by the body is smaller than the value of the aperture ring, it will cause overexposure
*2: Due to the optical characteristics of the lens, the accuracy of autofocus cannot be guaranteed
*3 The APS-C cropping mode is not automatically turned on; when using this teleconverter, it may cause difficulty in focusing after changing the lens, please remove the camera battery and put it back to solve it
*4. A, F, FA, DA and DFA series lenses only, K and M series lenses are not supported
Footnote 4 is particularly interesting: with the AF Adapter 1.7x "A lenses" are supported! I cannot wait to test it!

I toke some pictures during a walk, but when I saw the strange aperture and focal lenght values, I stopped taking pictures with that lens. Strange enough the exposure looks ok. I will do some further tests, and check if the aperture closes. Correctly? Difficult to say as the values I could select on the camera started at F14, and then continued F16, F18, …very strange values.

The adapter can be used with SOME K-AF (Autofocus!) lenses of other brands but then only in manual focus mode (you can use focus peaking), however information passed from the lens to the adapter is not always correct/useful/complete.
"Works" (no AF!) in manual focus (focus peaking):
- Tamron AF Aspherical XR IF 28-200mm 1:3.8-5.6 Macro [Model A03]
- Vivitar Series 1 AF 19-35mm F3.5-4.5
Both lenses have a aperture ring, locked in the "A" position; Monster Adapter switched to "MF".
EXIF: including chosen aperture (set with camera) and focal length; "Lens Info" and "Lens Model" are empty.
Exposure: OK (sometimes slightly overexposed)
Tested on Sony A7II and Sony A6400
Does not really work:
- Sigma AF 10-20mm F/4-5.6 EX DC J
MF possible (focus peaking), but the transmitted aperture and focal length values are completely false (focal length 10mm corresponds to 2520mm..., minimum aperture F14)
Exposure: seems OK (but I did not take that many pictures)
EXIF values totally useless
Tested on Sony A6400.
