First of all, thanks for the advices.
I done both (I cleaned the contacts and I tested with a with K-S2 with updated firmware), but the lens still doesnīt working. Pentax doesnīt have a service centre in Brazil, so I will send it back to US.

I had the same problem with this lens on my K-3 II. I upgraded firmware from the Japan site and still donīt working.

Hi folks,
First of all, thanks for advices!
I extend up to 300 before shot (several times)...
I updated firmware several times...
I unmounted and re-attached lens several times...
I gentle knocks a few times ($400...) but still not working...
And I tried others configurations. If I use P, Sv, Tv, Av, TAv, M, B or X + AF + set AF.S Setting to Release-priority it shots without focus.
Any other idea?

Hi,
Iīm a beginner user, so it can be a basic mistake...
Iīve a Pentax K-3 II and 3 lens: 1) SMC PENTAX-DA 40mm XS; 2) HD PENTAX-DA 18-50 mm DC WR RE; and 3) HD PENTAX-DA 55-300mm ED PLM WR RE.
The first and second lens works well, but I canīt shot with HD PENTAX-DA 55-300mm.
I canīt change focus with MF mode and nothing happens with AF mode (camera donīt focus and donīt shot).
I updated firmware to V1.10 and reset configurations, but it still not working...
Any idea?
