Yea, I've tried the two strokes. I think the problem is the gear/spring combo that actually interfaces with the cartridge. When it encounters any resistance it just spins freely.

Hello all!

I am a new member, and I'm excited to be on the forum, and I'm sorry my first post is about troubleshooting.

So, my dad got me an auto 110 for my birthday and I'm excited to get it fired up, but I have a problem... Everything seems to work, but my film won't advance! The advance lever works, but the little gear that I assume actually advances the film either won't move, or only moves a little bit (1/8-1/4 rotation).

Details
Film: Lomography tiger
Batteries: functional but of unknown age
Camera: auto 110 sn: 1140991

The camera was an eBay purchase and appears to be in good shape, the shutter works, metering seems good, and the LED's in the viewfinder function properly.

I'm pretty familiar with SLRs in general so I'm not afraid to try and fix it if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

-Jeff

p.s. sorry if the formatting is off this was written on my phone.
