Cerebum, My brother has kindly loaned me his 35mm (plastic fantastic), as well as the smc da 50mm which I have used. Greatly lenses! Yes I agree Southport has many great areas for some street photography, just need to find the time... Looks the pentax-m 50mm f2 is a great little lens for the money!

Greetings from the North West of England. I currently have a K-30 with a Pentax 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 lens.
My brother who is also a keen photographer and a member of this forum got me into photography, and recommended I join.
I'm hoping to acquire a KP in the future and look forward to further my photographic skills with all the great nuggets of info that are to be found on this forum.
