I do the same with the Paterson tank and in a similar way with the Stearman Press tank. So it seems this is the solution to all leaking. :D

Use what you have otherwise I would start with a Paterson tank and reel. Quite low cost, hight quality and easy to load the reel is.

As far as I know the AP tanks leak a tiny bit which is considered normal. That's why they are so cheap.
I am using the Paterson one and no leaking here. Not a single drop.
For my 4x5 films I am using the Stearmanpress tank which also is completely tight.
Always make sure to pre wet o-ring (if there are any) with water or better salvia prior closing so it doesn't roll aside.

I have ordered one last year and I am still waiting for it. Since I have an Intrepid 4x5 this seems to be a good idea.
As soon as I have it I will post my experiences.

Shooting at other than box speed - and developing?

With Foma I usually shoot half of the box speed and develop in HC110 dil H (1+63) and I am getting great results.
Foma states that you can shoot the ISO 100 from 50-400, so I tried a 120 roll at 200 and it looks good too.
The times in the Massive Dev app are working good and I develop at box speed.

I am using Flickr for some years now and still like it.
If you are using Lightroom it is very easy to upload from there. There is even a more advanced plugin out there which I am using by now.

No problem on Catalina 10.15.7 here. I just tried it on my older Mac.
Had to find a PEF first. Do not use it anymore. DNG is just more versatile.

Has anyone done one of the Magnum on demand online courses?

I cannot really say but the price seems reasonable compared to what others are pricing. As far as I know there is no technical stuff in the Magnum one but how Alec thinks and sees and approaches things.

I found two other smaller documentaries on Vimeo which I can recommend, especially the one about Shore. One is about Alexc Soth and the other about Stephen Shore.
They are shorter and very affordable and interesting and I bought those. (Watch ALEC SOTH - New American Photography Online | Vimeo On Demand on Vimeo and Watch STEPHEN SHORE - New Color Photography Online | Vimeo On Demand on Vimeo)
Hope this helps a bit.

If you put the K1 in X-mode the lens will be wide open. If this is not enough, you will need additional light which can stay turned on as long as it is not suuuper bright. Then I use a wireless trigger to fire.
Hope this helps.

I do not know under which brand they sell in the US too as I am from Germany but https://www.manfrotto.com/us-en/avenger-grip/stands/ is one. They are not cheap though.
Once you know which model you want you can ask DuckDuckGo where to find it cheaper. (f.i. Avenger/Manfrotto Avenger The Film Equipment Store or A.C. Lighting Inc. - Entertainment Lighting Technologies | Avenger C-Stand Kit 33 with sliding leg, https://www.thomannmusic.com/manfrotto_c_stand_kit_33_bk.htm - randomly picked !)
Hope that helps.

If you depend on them a lot and want to use them for long, I would suggest the ones from Manfrotto. These Chinese versions are usually much heavier, bulkier and not as well build. I have one in my studio but like my Manfrottos better and would buy the latter anytime again. The screws and gripheads are better too.

Maybe I should get one more of their transceivers as I am able to use my Godox AD600 BM in HSS mode with them.
