Hi
I have converted a Prakticar 2,8/135 MC with Praktica B mount to Pentax K. Check here http://percipa.com/foto/DIY objektiv/Prakticar 2,8:135/Prakticar 2,8_135 MC.html
I do not know if it is possible to convert your Sigma. Probably it wold work as long as you can adjust infinity with the focusing ring. There is a difference in the flange distance. The optics must com closer to the sensor.

For my K-1 I always use Digital Camera Utility for RAW and do the rest in Affinity Photo. If you donīt like Digital Camera Utility I would recommend Rawtherapee and Darktable. You can also "develop" RAW i Affinity.
Affinity is a very capable software at a good price.

Hi
If you want a small lens, the FA 50mm F1.4 is a cheap and good option. If you work over F2.8 you can get very good results. It's old and also a bit slow in focus.
Everything depends on how you intend to use the lens. There is better lenses with a little longer focal length if it is intended for portrait photography or macro.
Below some examples of what to expect from the old FA 50/1.4.
The first two pictures are at f4. No 2 is 200% crop from the lower feft side.
No 3 and 4 are at f8. No 4 is 200% crop. I used K-1. The post prosessing and sharpening was made in Digital camera utility 5.
I have no experience of the other lenses raised here in the thread.
Good luck with your search for a fixed focal lens.

Hi
Old K-mount user from the film era. Finaly I now use a good digital camera - Pentax K-1. I prior used Chinon cameras for film and I still use Chinon for B/W film.
I do like to do some changes to lenses. I changed Prakticar 2,8/135 MC Pentacon B-mount to K-mount. You can read the instructions here http://percipa.com/foto/DIY objektiv/Prakticar 2,8:135/Prakticar 2,8_135 MC.html
I will later add how to easy rebuild Carl Zeiss Planar 1,7/50 T*.
