My 16 month old 645Z has a malfunction of the mode dial. When I place the dial in TV,SV or P,it stays on Aperture priority. I can use the dial and the camera switches to all the other modes appropriately. However, these 3 settings remain in A (aperture priority mode).I've updated software to 1.30. Reset to factory settings and reset all custom functions to no avail. The camera has been relatively lightly used for a camera of this quality. No proffesional use. Strictly amateur. Any ideas?
Of course, 5 months out of warranty period. Precision Camera, the Ricoh certified repair shop, charges 850 bucks just to look at it. I can use it perfectly well without those three exposure modes but Im afraid the dial will conk out completely at some point on a trip. Any ideas??

Has anybody ever used a Pentax 75mm 67 shift lens with an adapter on a 645Z camera? I didn't know if there would be image cutoff because of the adapter itself on the image circle. It looks like I can get reasonably priced 67 TS lenses and am perfectly happy to use them manually. I usually use a spot meter anyways.
