Guys,
I finally managed to fix this. (My camera wasn't set on green mode, just M).
All I had to do was update the firmware (from V1.01 to V1.04, Latest K20D Firmware Update : Software Downloads | RICOH IMAGING), and then restore user settings.
This was the only way I got to unlock the FILE FORMAT option.

Hi all,
I am a Pentax K20D camera user. I've recently tried to switch the format from JPEG to RAW to no avail. According to the user manual, I just need to go to REC. MODE > FILE FORMAT and change it there. However, this option is "blocked" in my camera - the option appears in grey, see picture. Nor can I access JPEG REC. PIXELS, EXTENDED BRACKET, MULTI-EXPOSURE...
Has anyone run into the same problem?
