I tried to post this earlier, but it didnt work, so Im sorry if it is a double post.
I dont really get this HDR thing. Is it a program I have to buy? Is it in photoshop? Do you shoot in HDR or manipulate afterward? I want to play with it, but I just dont know where to start. Any info will be helpful. Thank you.

thank you....so It is mandatory that I use a remote? oh well....its not like Im taking long exposures all the time, just nice to have the option. Thanks again!

Hello everyone....I am new here, and psyched I found the site, because I love my camera and I'm glad to know that there are other happy pentax users out there.
I have been wondering how to get a long exposure on my k10d. I can only get the exposure up to 30 seconds, but I would like to expose for minutes at a time. I went through the manual and couldn't find any help...maybe I skipped over it, but I would love some help if any of you know how. thanks!
