Here is dismantled the mount. Engraved "NF" means Nikkon mount or not? Now I wait for next ordered lens: Komuranon 80-210mm 1/4.5 with Pentax mount.

My Sankyo Kohki Komura 135mm 1:2.8 with Minolta mount is preset model. What are differences between UNI and UNI AUTO mounts?

Thank you for your advice, Paolo.
I am not high experienced in lens mounting and adapters. At this moment, according your suggestion and bought other lenses with Pentax and Uni-Auto adapters. In last week I have bought two lenses:
- Komuranon type 821-S 80-210mm 1:4.5 with Pentax ME mount
- Sankyo Kohki Super-Komura 135mm 1:2.8 with Uni Auto mount.
Pictures of both mounts are below.

Using one or both of above mounts I hope to fit my basic Komura lens to Pentax body.
I will post more details after both above lenses I receive.

Hi Pentax Owners.

Few days ago I bought old Sankyo Kohki Komura 135mm f 1:2,8 lens. The lens needs cleaning because mold and dust inside it. I wonder how the lens to mount in my Pentax K5 II. The lens has Minolta mounting, probably. Could someone suggest what adapter to use to convert it into Pentax K, please? Here are few pictures of the lens:

According to comparison of conducting and non-conducting (black plated) adapters described in:
TESTS: Plated vs Painted (conducting vs non-conducting) lens mounts on K-r: whats t - PentaxForums.com
I made some improvements:

I removed the black anodized coating to make electrical contact for pin 7 and ground.

Here is unscrewed internal ring of the adapter. Thank to you for support. Now all is clear for me. I can attach the adapter T-Mount / Pentax K to my Soligor lens. It is simpler solution than I thought before. First my idea was to buy M42 / Pentax K adapter to attach it to camera body but now I found simpler and most solid solution. The T-Mount / Pentax K adapter could be attached to the lens forever instead additional ring like M42 / Pentax K attached to the body and dismounting each time when I change lens.

I intend to replace current adapter (T-Mount / M42) by new from eBay (T-Mount / Pentax K). It will be simpler instead to attach to current adapter next adapter (M42 / Pentax K). And I hope it will be correct.

Here is a review of my lens:
The Soligor 105 mm f/ 2.8 Lens. Specs. MTF Charts. User Reviews.
It has 46 mm diameter filter thread.

Today I measured the thread on back the lens. It is M42x1 mm and dismounted the rear flange (adapter). I found on eBay adapter T-Mount / Pentax K. Both pictures are below. I hope changing the adapter everything will be OK. Have you any suggestions? Thanks.

Kernos, I have not the rod on the back of the lens and have silver ring to twist the aperture range (look at pictures). I am beginner on area of interchangeable lenses cameras (in past I used Olympus camera with fixed lenses). So maybe I made a mistake thinking that my Soligor has M42 mount? Maybe it is T-mount lens? How to recognize differences and, if it T-mount lens, how it to fit to my Pentax K-5 II?

Hi kernos.
Thank you for advice. My Soligor lens has not A/M switch. It is manual lens only. So I could use the Pentax adapter #30120?

Few days ago I bought old lens for my Pentax K-5 II: the Soligor 105mm 1:2.8 Preset - manual lens. I hope if I use genuine Pentax adapter (#30120) I will avoid any troubles. And the module lens/adapter will be work properly with my body. Have you any suggestions or advices?

I am new owner of K-5 II from two months. I am still experimenting with the camera but up till now I am very satisfied of my new Pentax. I cannot find any answer in Operating Manual about the socket below memory card slot. It is described as Cable Release Terminal only in Manual - page 20. What is it for? For ear phones like for mobile devices?. I cannot found any details about the socket in manual. Could any User of K-5 could answer to the question? Here is a picture.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi All

I am just new member of the Pentax forum. In past I used Olympus DSLR. But now, (from 2 months) I am an owner of Pentax camera and few lenses:
- Pentax K-5 II + Bat Grip
- Sigma DC 17-70mm 1:2,8-4,0 DC Macro HSM
- SMC Pentax-M 50mm 1:1,7
- Tokina AF 75-300mm 1:4,5-5,6
- Soligor 105mm 1:2,8
- SMC Pentax-DAL 18-55mm 1:3,5-5,6

I am very satisfied of the K-5 II camera. But I am still learning how to use the new DSLR. I hope the forum will be my main support and source of knowledge about the camera.

Best regards
