Ah I am very sorry, you are right of course, they remade the HD versions, mine is a regular non-HD version. Though I think the only difference is a different lens coating (not sure). The first stair shot is at f2.8 yes.
I attached a completely unaltered image from the 35mm at f6.3. I have to pull up the corners by about two stops to make them even, but then again it really only affects the very extreme corners. The 70mm ltd. I have as the HD version and that shows no vignetting at all as far as I can tell (also a fabulous lens imo). |

To my knowledge there is only one 35mm ltd., the Pentax DA 35mm Macro limited. :)

It is pretty bad, but only in the extreme corners. It can still be fixed easy enough for me. I would definitely not buy the 35mm ltd. for FF since there is so much choice in the 35mm range, but it is a very good lens and can be incredibly sharp.

It is actually my workplace. Definitely not distorted, its only a 35mm lens anyway, and this is exactly what it looks like.
The building is from the 1956, it is in West-Berlin and one of many very stylish distinctive post-war buildings.
Here is another one from the top of the stairs: |

One more with the K1, this time from the 35mm ltd., despite the vignetting one of my fav on FF so far. |

Hi fellow Pentaxians!
I just signed up, admittedly because of a lens I fancy to buy in the buy/sell section, but thought since I have been a long time lurker on these amazing forums it'd be nice to introduce myself!
My first Pentax was a K5 a few years ago and I have been absolutely lost to Pentax since then. For me both the ergonomics as well as the technical aspects (WR, No AA Filter, In-camera SR, Pixelshift to name but a few awesome innovations) have been absolutely perfect. Since then I upgraded to a K3 and just a few weeks ago to the K1.
I shoot mostly landscapes and cities, though I do enjoy the occasional portrait and macro photography as well.
I'd be more than happy if you checked by my Instagram account @philippweindich
