Thanks for all your posts. I just got mine and it's my 2nd DA limited (after DA 21mm, actually I bought it together with DA 70mm, ha). I believe I'd enjoy this lens as all you guys do :)

I don't have external mic so that I haven't got a chance to try it. However, in case of the internal mic issue, I've returned the camera.

While I couldn't confirm it's normal or a real issue on my K3, I decided to return it while I still could.
Hopefully others' K3 don't have this issue and it's just my camera issue.

The level control is on Auto also. However, because the sound from the drums was almost continuous, I thought the auto level should've handled it without too much choppy sound, :( . Hopefully there's nothing wrong with my K3.

Thank you very much for all your replies. I guess it should be normal that my K3 tends to underexpose a bit, and I'll take more shots during New Year holidays. As long as it's consistent, I am fine with that. Thanks again and Happy New Year!!!

When I said the audio was low, I mean both on camera or computer playback. I didn't see the audio level during recording because I was using auto level.
Besides, the clip posted here is to show the breaking up sound (bass), the volume is not small since it's a loud outdoor concert :p

I know the built-in mic is not that good, but just wondered if the breaking up sound is normal.
Since kadajawi's K5 performs the same way, I guess there is nothing wrong with the mic on my K3.

Hi, I am a New K3 user and really love and enjoy the upgrade from K3.
However, with the new 86000 pixels metering sensor, I found that My K3 tends to underexpose. Does any owner feel the same way as I do?

Thanks for your reply. The audio level was set to Auto then.
Hopefully there's nothing wrong with my mic. Otherwise, I need to send it back and replace it ASAP.

Hello K3 users,
Just wondering if the audio level (volume) of your video clip from your K3 would be too low?
I just received my K3 and test the video recording, but the volume of the video is really low.
I know I could set the the audio level manually, but it's still kind of low (although acceptable) when I set to the max.
Besides, I was at the outdoor concert on Sunday, but the audio quality of my video is really bad.
It seems that my k3 could not handle the bass. I will post a short video clip later today.
I know I could use the external mic, but still want to know if there's anything wrong with my mic and if there's anyone having the same experience.

I am wondering if Pentax would mention anything about the 2014 FF Pentax camera in the announcement two weeks later.
I don't know the reason, but I always believe what you said about Pentax's rumors.
If you know more things (which are sharable) about Pentax FF, please let us know.

I am sorry to use the confusing word, coating, here.
What I mean "new coating" is the new smooth finish on the lens body instead of the previous crinkle one.

Just want to share with those who are interested in Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 that this lens now comes with new coating (lens body).
I, personally, prefer the new coating because I got serious paint chip on my Sigma 18-200mm.
However, the one I received has back focus issue and hopefully the replacement would be a perfect & sharp one :) .

Hopefully I could see the official announcement soon, because I just lost my Sigma 10-20mm in ShangHai in early May and might purchase another 10-20mm if I couldn't see the 12-35mm released soon...

Although I use 16-50mm more often than 50-135mm, optically, 50-135mm is obviously superior to 16-50mm. Anyway, I love both lenses with weather seal ^_^.
